Clients reviews about Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct (FKBD)

We had a great experience with Floors Kitchen and Bath Direct. From the first call to the final walk‑through they were extremely responsive, reliable and always communicated clearly about the schedule. The crew arrived on time every day, paid close attention to detail, and kept the work area tidy. Their professionalism made our kitchen remodeling project smooth and stress‑free, especially since we were in the middle of moving to VA from out of state. Rafi oversaw the entire job and was extremely responsive and receptive, especially with our change orders. Chris (plumber) worked tirelessly in our basement ensuring the plumbing for the gas line was installed to code and ultimately passed county inspection. While waiting for the gas to be installed, Rafi loaned us an electric stove to use. ~ Stephanie C

Rafi and his team did a fantastic job for a solid price overhauling the bathroom in my Alexandria condo. I work onsite in the city everyday but this wasn’t an issue for the team, and even when I was moving out and needed to move large furniture through the thoroughfare where bathroom materials were behind staged, the worker was very courteous and understanding. Very considerate the whole time. Even during the demolition stage, when I came back home there were tarps covering my belongings all the way front door to the bathroom to avoid dust and debris getting on them. Aside from the great housekeeping, the workmanship was great, communication was efficient, material selection was easy, and the billing was very straight forward. Solid deal, would absolutely go back and recommend them to others. ~ Mollie C

I would 100% recommend Floors Kitchen and Bath Direct to a friend, family member, or client. We used FKB for our kitchen remodel and we were so impressed with them. From start to finish, FKB was efficient and professional. They kept in mind that we would be without a kitchen for the duration of the project, so they worked quickly and made sure to keep the renovation on schedule. We didn't have many concerns but if there was every a question, they responded immediately. We plan to remodel a bathroom in the future and we will definitely reach out to FKB when the time comes. A special thank you to the owner Rafi who is personable, knowledgeable, and worked within our budget. A very special shout out to Carlos who was the lead crew member and did an incredible job. We've received so many complements on our new kitchen! ~ Tierney W

5 stars – I was extremely impressed with Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct. Their craftsmen were all exceptional (and I am usually a little hard to please). Everyone communicated clearly at every step, and they were always friendly and professional. They showed up on time, completed the work on schedule and took special care to clean-up everyday. It took me months to make all the final decisions. The good advice, patience and understanding throughout the whole process is what I appreciated the most. I absolutely love my small primary bath renovation. Even better that I hoped! I will definitely choose them again and I would definitely recommend them for any home renovation or kitchen remodeling project. ~ sherri r

The quality of work produced by the team at Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct impressed me. We had four of our bathroom renovated and are very happy with the results! What stood out the most was Rafi’s flexibility and communication. Overall they kept everything very clean and even offered cleaning service after all the renovation was complete. Anytime we had a concern or needed to make a change, they listened and addressed it. While there were a few detail-related slip-ups along the way, they were quick to correct them immediately once brought to their attention, which we really appreciated. Overall, a hardworking and professional crew — especially Manolo and his brother who were the crew that directly worked on our bathrooms, they were absolutely fantastic to work with and we’d gladly work with them again. ~ YUJIN S

The team at Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct provided top-notch communication, consistently delivering updates and news about our home renovation project, while also impressing us with their reliability and attention to detail, creating a seamless bathroom remodeling experience. With their honesty and professionalism, we trusted every aspect of the process, from design to completion. In addition, Rafi was very attentive to our particular needs for our bathroom reno, as we were designing the space for my elderly mother. He was extremely responsive to any changes we needed to make during the process. We have worked with many contractors in the past, but working with Floors Kitchen & Bath direct was absolutely the best experience we’ve ever had with a contractor. We will DEFINITELY call them in the future for any additional contracting needs! ~ Eileen C

As a local realtor, I always look for great recommendations from clients on their experience with local contractors. I had heard nothing but great reviews from my clients that used Floors, Kitchen & Bath Direct... so when it came time to update the bathrooms in my own home, I gave them a call. I was impressed with the easy design process, their organization and the quality of work. In just 2 weeks they completely remodeled 2 bathrooms along with some other smaller items that needed attention. They were done from start to finish quicker than expected and I was also impressed with their reasonable pricing. Very thankful we found them, they came highly recommend and I agree! Excellent Job and very happy with the results! ~ Elizabeth A

10/10 would recommend FKBD - on time, on budget, and exceeded expectations! We needed a contractor to convert our basement into an in-law suite, so we partnered with FKBD to: -replace carpet with wood -install a kitchenette (incl. plumbing and electrical) -repaint -install recessed lighting -add safety bars in bathroom The process: Rafi and Susan were very helpful - they worked with us to go over 11 different versions of the kitchen layout. Because they're direct to manufacturer, they put us in contact with each contractor (stone yard, flooring, etc...) and we were able to pick everything out ourselves and give them the SKU number. The result: They completed all the work in 2 weeks and we couldn't be happier!! ~ Michael C

We had an exceptional experience with Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct. Rafi and Susan were both extremely responsive, professional and generous with their time and advice. Not only did FKBD completely remodel one of our bathrooms (with a beautiful new walk-in shower), they patiently worked with us to partially remodel a second bathroom and then refurbished our deck, fixed some dripping A/C ducts over our kitchen ceiling and then even patched up some drywall where some rodents had been entering. We were very happy with how things turned out. With Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct, you get a reasonably priced, "one-stop shop" without sacrificing for quality on the structural and finish work. We would definitely use them again! ~ Scott A

With 100% certainty I recommend Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct. Not only were they eager to answer any questions I had at the beginning of our project, but their quickness, kindness, and overall excellent work was absolutely top notch. I can’t thank the company enough for their work with us and I would definitely work with them again if the need came up. The project itself lasted five days and included demoing the original shower floor and wall tiles. Once that part was done they installed the shower floor and wall tiles we selected and would ask us questions about anything they were curious about (whether we wanted the wall tiles to be vertical/horizontal, did we want them staggered, what color grout, etc). The fellas that performed the demo and install showed up early each day and were as respectful as can possibly me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ~ Christopher B

My grandmothers original floor from the 80s needed to be replaced due to water damage (which the root cause was also addressed and fixed by Rafael and his team)- he brought us some floor samples to see what would look best and boy was he spot on with his recommendation! It works perfectly with the various colors in her home. FKB also installed new carpet on the second floor- the turn around time was quick and the crew was considerate, clean and professional. It’s also very important to note that the FKB team were transparent, honest and unlike a lot of contractor horror stories- showed up. I highly recommend! Will stick with FKB for upcoming projects! Thanks Rafael and team! ~ Brigitte H

We recently hired Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct to update three bathrooms and a kitchen. And we couldn't be more pleased. We are happy with the results, the people who did the work, the way the project unfolded and our dealings with Rafi and Susan. We didn't have much experience with major home renovations and very much appreciated their guidance as we made the myriad decisions that go into a renovation of any size. They were patient, provided many thoughtful options, and really worked to make sure that details both large and small were executed, and within budget. Throughout the process things were uncovered that needed adjustment and they listened to our concerns and rectified each issue to our satisfaction. If you're looking for quality home renovation work that you'll be happy with that doesn't break the bank, my wife and I would highly recommend FKBD! ~ Gordon T

My husband and I contracted with Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct to renovate our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Rafi Vázquez and his team were responsible for these projects from start to finish. Their professional attention to detail made the process smooth and easy. Our goal was to refresh our aging kitchen and bathrooms beautifully and economically, and his company delivered. We especially liked 1 point of contact for the total project! His crew does beautiful tile work and quality product installation. We highly recommend Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct if you are seeking a beautiful and affordable home rejuvenation. Patrice and Emerson Hevia ~ Patrice H

Sharing photos of before and after of a 23 yr old Bathroom transformed to a new modern bathroom. Love the work Rafi's team did and props to Susan for providing great customer service. Everything I picked out from their helpful catalog, and a few things had special made and had it installed where and how I asked. I found this company through a referral and when I saw the work they had done for a friend I knew they would be a good fit for my project. Team is very professional and keeps their work area very organized and clean. Looking forward to having them transform my Master Bathroom Next! Thank you! ~ Meganoosh A

We used Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct for a complete kitchen renovation - and they did an amazing job helping us completely transform the space. From the initial consultation to the finished work, Rafi and his team were great to work with. Excellent workers, honest and fair, helpful in terms of advising us on the best most cost effective ways to execute each project. They did such a great job, we hired them back for our basement renovation after a flood and asbestos issue. Again, we could not be happier with the work and professionalism. We highly recommend FKBD! ~ Maria F

This was our first remodeling project using a contractor, and Rafi and his team (Susan, Juan and Ishmael) were terrific to work with! We couldn't be more pleased with the entire process and absolutely love the completed bathroom - we feel like we're at a first-class resort! From day one, Rafi and Susan were very professional, answered our questions promptly, and the timeline/workflow was spot-on. When we mentioned that we planned to replace the carpet after the bathroom was finished, Rafi recommended a "carpet guy" - so we also got beautiful new carpeting installed within the original timeline, and for a great price! Juan and Ishmael did the hands-on work. They arrived promptly every morning and did a superb job - tearing out the old bathroom, installing the new tub/shower/tile floor/vanity, etc - and best of all, they cleaned up after themselves - every day! Thank you, Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct for making our master bathroom remodel project a pleasure and a success! ~ Mary B

I recently had my front entryway and kitchen floors replaced by Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct and could not be happier. This is the second project they have completed for me, first it was my en suite bathroom and now these floors. The entire process the quote through the finished product is smooth and professional. Susan is always helpful in coordinating all the pieces and Rafi does an amazing job at managing the work. I highly recommend this company I will be using them for my future projects! ~ Katherine J

For what seemed to be impossible to fix, these guys knew what they were doing! Our brand new kitchen is state of the art, top notch, everything our family needed in our brand new home. The team was respectful, honest, and personal, and the way they conducted themselves through their work made you feel like family. We never felt that our opinions and requests were ignored. Very easily contactable and willing to fix things in a timely manner. Our next big project will for sure be with them! ~ Rachel H

We updated our bathroom to make it more accessible, including a walk-in shower and grab bars. The team worked carefully to ensure everything was both functional and visually appealing. The project took about ten days, and they stayed on schedule. Compared to our previous setup, this feels much safer and easier to use. They also paid attention to details like slip-resistant flooring. It’s a thoughtful upgrade that provides peace of mind while still maintaining a clean, modern look. ~ Thuong V

I hired Floors Kitchen and Bath Direct to redo my kitchen. The price was reasonable and the work was excellent. They got rid of the ugly bulkhead, separated the range from the wall, and installed 42” cabinets and quartz countertops. They also did some work for me in the bathroom repairing the tile that another contractor had messed up. It came out perfect. They completed the work on time and on budget and left my apartment clean. I would definitely hire them again. ~ lilai g

FKBD demonstrated outstanding professionalism, communication, and transparency during the home remodeling process. The kitchen crew and floor crew were great — meticulous, clean, and respectful. Everything came out beautifully. Floors Kitchen and Bath Direct was good throughout our home renovation. They had previously done our kitchen. So, I called on them again for a bathroom. I felt confident from start to finish and would recommend them for any bathroom remodel. ~ G M

Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct were fantastic to work with on a recent drywall replacement project that we had to do. Our finished basement had terrible old 70s paneling and we were very grateful for the FKBD teams quick response to help us when we discovered some damp underneath. They were very punctual, responsive, tidy, and cleaned everything up perfectly. They were very good at asking questions and keeping us updated. Highly recommend them for the next project! ~ A N

Shout out to Floors Kitchen and Bath for our new bathroom. Our project manager Rafi was very responsive to our texts and questions. When we had a couple issues at the end - Rafi came out himself and everything was wrapped up in a couple hours. We really can’t thank enough our tile installer, Adrian, who did such a professional job and truly was responsible for so much of making our new bathroom so beautiful. ~ Nadia G
